Mira changed into a black H&M sweater dress and sneakers, then met Kenna in the lobby.

The lab was located several blocks from the hotel. Mira and Kenna walked to the back of the building, to the loading docks.

Two men were unloading a truck. There were several boxes stacked inside the truck. With each box they removed, they’d leave the truck unattended and go inside for several minutes.

“Wait here,” Mira said as she watched them take a shipment inside.

“What are you going to do?” Kenna asked.

“I’m going to see what’s in those boxes,” Mira said leaving before Kenna could protest.

She quickly went into the truck and bent down to look at the shipping label of one of the boxes. It was from Ahmedabad, but not from the lab they went to. Mira tore the tape off it and there was a Styrofoam container; she opened the lid of it and there was dry ice and several vials. She heard a door open, grabbed the box, and went behind several larger boxes, doing her best to hide.

The men were laughing and saying something in another language. They each grabbed a box and went back inside. Mira sighed relieved and took the box out of the truck and ran to Kenna.

“Let’s get out of here,” she said urgently.

“You don’t think they’ll notice that a box is gone?”

Mira nodded, “Absolutely they will, but you’re going to need to test the contents.”

Kenna shot her a double take, “What is it?”

“Vials of something.”

“What is going on?” Kenna asked quickly following behind Mira as they raced onto the busy street and disappeared into the crowd.
